On Wednesday the mayor, Antonio Sánchez explained that “the modifications to the PGOU that mainly affect rural properties will be made once the regional authority has published its new decree”. The local planning councillor, Juan Cruz, added that plans are already under way that are aimed at “legalising as many properties as possible, more than 90 per cent”. The mayor added that they would wait for the specifications of the new decree so as not to have to correct any mistakes in the future. Nevertheless Sánchez went on to say that there were cases for which a solution could not be found.
